We have been mandated to identify acquisition opportunities for an organisation looking to make a number of acquisitions over the next six months focused in the contract packing, packaging and assembly sector. Their criteria is as follows:
- Companies providing Contract packing, packaging, assembly services to the following industries:
- Medical
- Healthcare
- Blister packing
- Pharma
- Vitamins
- Clean room
- Diagnostics
- Wound dressing
- Manufacture
- Devices
- Food supplements
- Neutraseuticals
- Servicing blue chip clients and ethical pharmas as part of their customer base.
- Businesses holding licences for medical and pharma packaging / assembly are particularly attractive
- Businesses to be based either in the UK, Ireland or Eastern Europe. No other geographical restrictions.
- Turnover ranging from £4 - £8 million or part of a large PLC.
- Businesses should ideally be cash generative, although underperforming businesses may be of interest if licences are in place.
- The ongoing position/role of the existing management is relaxed, although a handover period is a minimum requirement.
- Businesses that are able to relocate are preferable with our existing site able to absorb turnover of circa £4 million
Our client is a supplier of packaging components and contract packing services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries based in the north of England. They have a Blue chip customer base including Boots and Novartis and are recognised as an approved supplier for Glaxo.
